Everything you need to know about the Startup Foundry program. Can't find what you're looking for? Reach out to us.
01Who is this program for?
Startup Foundry is for founders at every early stage — whether you have an idea you are validating, an MVP you are building, or an early product already generating revenue but you need structure to grow. If you are serious about building a company, this program is for you. Founders from anywhere in the world are welcome.
02How much does the program cost?
The program fee is $1,000 per startup. This is a one-time fee that covers the full 6-week program, all materials, live sessions, $100K+ in startup perks, Founder Showcase participation, and lifetime access to the alumni network. No equity is taken.
03Is this program only for US founders?
No. Founders from anywhere in the world can join. The curriculum is built around US incorporation, legal structures, and fundraising frameworks because they are the global standard for venture-backed startups. Whether you are building for the US or another market, the foundations we teach apply.
04Do I have to incorporate in the US?
Yes. Our curriculum is built around US incorporation and legal structures, and we expect founders in the program to incorporate in the US. A Delaware C-Corp is the standard structure for raising venture capital globally. We will walk you through why, when, and how to set it up, even if you are based outside the US.
05What is the time commitment?
Expect to dedicate 8-10 hours per week. This includes live sessions, coursework, and working on your startup. The program is designed to be intensive but manageable alongside other commitments.
06What timezone are live sessions in?
Live sessions run on Pacific Time (PT), typically between 10am and 1pm PT on weekdays. All sessions are recorded and available for replay if you cannot attend live.
07What if I miss a live session?
All sessions are recorded and available for replay. We strongly encourage live attendance for maximum value.
08Do I need a co-founder?
No. Many founders in our program are solo founders. The curriculum covers co-founder dynamics and how to decide if and when you need one.
09Do you take equity in my startup?
No. You pay the program fee and keep 100% ownership of your company.
10What types of companies do you support?
We are built for software and tech companies: SaaS, B2B, B2C, marketplaces, AI, fintech, healthtech, and edtech. Our curriculum, mentors, and partnerships are software-oriented. We are not able to support hardware, deep tech, biotech (lab-based), or physical product companies at this stage.
11What is the Silicon Valley connection?
Startup Foundry is based in San Francisco. Our curriculum, mentors, and speakers come from the Silicon Valley ecosystem. Founders in the program get access to the same playbooks, frameworks, and investor exposure that Silicon Valley startups are built on, regardless of where they are in the world.
12How does the Founder Showcase work?
The Founder Showcase is the final day of the program. Founders pitch their startups to a room of real investors. You will receive pitch coaching and feedback rounds throughout Week 6 to prepare. The Founder Showcase is your opportunity to get direct feedback, make connections, and start funding conversations.
13What happens after the 6 weeks?
You get lifetime access to the Startup Foundry alumni network and all course materials. Select founders may receive introductions to investors based on progress and fit.
